The cursed spear.

A farmer lived in a village. He was a mystic man. He had a small family with a son, a daughter and a wife. He had a large piece of land to his name where he would harvest his crops every year. His land had something unusual about it. It happened at times that the farmer found miscellaneous objects when he used to plough or dig the land. Because his land was situated above some ancient remains.
Some how a team of geological researchers get to know about this land. And one day they arrive at the village to the farmer's house. That day the farmer had gone out to the city for several days so his wife attended the guests. They had come to search for the ancient remains that might or might not be hidden in the land of the farmer. They promised to give big incentive if they are allowed to start their work in the land.
The woman heeds for the proposal.
The work starts without any delay.
After few days of work, one day, they found something when they had uncovered a considerable area of land. They had found a spear which was made of wood. It seemed as if there was some sort of museum at this location and now it revealed its hidden treasure. The very same day the farmer had arrived home. When he was acknowledged about the team of workers in his land he rushed to them. When he reached he Started arguing with one of the team members. He wanted them to stop the work at once and leave his place. He snatched the discovered spear from the hands of the head of the team. Who in turn got angry and started over the old man.
"You fool. Do you have a sense what you are doing? This thing belongs to the national museum. And all such things that are right now hidden in your land belong to our museum. These are ancient remains. Do you even know their worth?
The old man objected with the same strength,"This is my land and my property. And before me it was my father's. And before him it was my grand father's property. This spear is made up of wood. And wood is what we need to burn fire and cook food for ourselves. And this is the worth of this wood. It is meant to be burn and its meant to be used for building houses. You are the one who is fool enough to make a museum with these things which belong to a nation that has been forgotten hundreds of years ago."
Arguments went on for a while and only ended when the team retreated.

Same day over the dinner the farmer and his small family were eating in silence, when the son asks the father respectfully; "Why hasn't you left the team to work in our land. They were giving us incentive. Of what harm can a mere spear be to anyone? Why didn't you let them find what they were looking for?"
"The spear is cursed" the father replied with affection and went on,"Didn't you think for a second why the claiming nation has been forgotten and no trace of them has been left so that the present world could remember them! Didn't you think why their is no one left who could claim for this ancient spear; and it lay there in the ground purposeless."
The boy had no answer, hence the old man went on,"Its because of the curse that is laid by the spear upon that nation that today the nation that once owned it left no trace of their on the earth. The universe runs on its supreme laws which no one would dare to destroy. In the same place where today our farm is situated, years back, the nation once created a place like the way we have museums today, to save there its marvelous creations; of which the spear is one. That act of their's wasn't based on wisdom. Because doing so they forgot that the greatness of a nation and the life of their tradition doesn't lay in the places like the museum. And they failed to understand that greater importance is given to the world that is behind the eyes of every person of the nation.
Thus the spear had laid a curse on them and forbid them from knowing forth the glory of men. which in turn lies purely in the greatness of men's soul and not of its creations. If today we seek glory in places like museum full of the spear and other things we will be  the victim of its curse and same as that forgotten nation we will end up and forgotten."
