The cursed spear.

A farmer lived in a village. He was a mystic man. He had a small family with a son, a daughter and a wife. He had a large piece of land to his name where he would harvest his crops every year. His land had something unusual about it. It happened at times that the farmer found miscellaneous objects when he used to plough or dig the land. Because his land was situated above some ancient remains.
Some how a team of geological researchers get to know about this land. And one day they arrive at the village to the farmer's house. That day the farmer had gone out to the city for several days so his wife attended the guests. They had come to search for the ancient remains that might or might not be hidden in the land of the farmer. They promised to give big incentive if they are allowed to start their work in the land.
The woman heeds for the proposal.
The work starts without any delay.
After few days of work, one day, they found something when they had uncovered a considerable area of land. They had found a spear which was made of wood. It seemed as if there was some sort of museum at this location and now it revealed its hidden treasure. The very same day the farmer had arrived home. When he was acknowledged about the team of workers in his land he rushed to them. When he reached he Started arguing with one of the team members. He wanted them to stop the work at once and leave his place. He snatched the discovered spear from the hands of the head of the team. Who in turn got angry and started over the old man.
"You fool. Do you have a sense what you are doing? This thing belongs to the national museum. And all such things that are right now hidden in your land belong to our museum. These are ancient remains. Do you even know their worth?
The old man objected with the same strength,"This is my land and my property. And before me it was my father's. And before him it was my grand father's property. This spear is made up of wood. And wood is what we need to burn fire and cook food for ourselves. And this is the worth of this wood. It is meant to be burn and its meant to be used for building houses. You are the one who is fool enough to make a museum with these things which belong to a nation that has been forgotten hundreds of years ago."
Arguments went on for a while and only ended when the team retreated.

Same day over the dinner the farmer and his small family were eating in silence, when the son asks the father respectfully; "Why hasn't you left the team to work in our land. They were giving us incentive. Of what harm can a mere spear be to anyone? Why didn't you let them find what they were looking for?"
"The spear is cursed" the father replied with affection and went on,"Didn't you think for a second why the claiming nation has been forgotten and no trace of them has been left so that the present world could remember them! Didn't you think why their is no one left who could claim for this ancient spear; and it lay there in the ground purposeless."
The boy had no answer, hence the old man went on,"Its because of the curse that is laid by the spear upon that nation that today the nation that once owned it left no trace of their on the earth. The universe runs on its supreme laws which no one would dare to destroy. In the same place where today our farm is situated, years back, the nation once created a place like the way we have museums today, to save there its marvelous creations; of which the spear is one. That act of their's wasn't based on wisdom. Because doing so they forgot that the greatness of a nation and the life of their tradition doesn't lay in the places like the museum. And they failed to understand that greater importance is given to the world that is behind the eyes of every person of the nation.
Thus the spear had laid a curse on them and forbid them from knowing forth the glory of men. which in turn lies purely in the greatness of men's soul and not of its creations. If today we seek glory in places like museum full of the spear and other things we will be  the victim of its curse and same as that forgotten nation we will end up and forgotten."

What Our Country Feels Today?

Its a simple question, "What our country feels today?"
Wise and patriotic men always know what their country feels at a particular moment. But do we ever act like wise and patriotic men in the real sense of the word? What are we doing now? Do we really have an idea what our country feels today?
Let me tell you what is happening today and what our country feels today.
The issue that we can never set in a pending state is terrorism. Then comes the second issue which is the sense of deprivation among the different sects of people of the country. Then comes the unsteadiness in the politics. And we all know whats happening in Karachi and in Quetta. And in past what terrorists did against our armed forces. And also the continuously degrading economic health of the people against the present resources of the government. Then the crisis situation in the energy and in the other sects that emerge due to the inability and the corruption of the leaders. And many many many others. But i would just point out the major ones and the ones that should never be ignored because of their graver consequences.
Now let me talk about the strategies that we made while we are fighting against these national issues.
A number of committees that we formed and we consider them the only measure to solve complicated issues. A number of visits to other countries that may or may not be our friends in real. And those visits are apparently destined to be helpful in future development of Pakistan. A number of cases that are often listened in the supreme court and the high court. And if ever every one of those cases result in anything it would be the dis credibility of one the political party members. And then the media which everyday talks so seriously about these issues and keeps disclosing the cheap reality of the politics and keeps on airing the poverty, helplessness and lawlessness of the state and its people. All this from the media results in the over created concern about the situations in the country and also it creates a sense of destitution among the people, which is a very serious issue. All the efforts we are making to restore peace in the country and all the measures that we take against terrorism, with each day it proves to be "not enough". All these steps are creating a sense that we are doing something in response but in fact all these steps are making us more ignorant about the severeness of the circumstances. The reason of this meaningless stretegies is that we haven't yet known the enemy and his ways of attack on our country.
I don't say that our enemy is India or our enemy is America or Taliban, but I say that our enemy is the one who is creating lawlessness, destitution, energy crisis, economic crisis, illiteracy, regional disputes, etc; the list goes on.
A country's fate is not determined by its government or its political leaders but mainly by its people. One would ask, what is our people getting in all these critical circumstances? And what answer would he get, i presume; the BISP ( Benazir Income Support Program) and Laptop scheme. Which is making them even destitute and even illiterate. Everyone knows the reputation of Pakistan as an internet user. We haven't even learnt to use internet yet. While income support programs are making us even more helpless and even more dictated by the poverty rather then by the hands of an army dictator. It would make us even dependent upon the government instead of becoming independent employed people. Now compare who would be a better dictator? Musharraf or the present Government( I wished if I could avoid any politicians name in this post but i feel that people are not wise enough to understand my points).
In short, our people are being led in the wrong direction; that's why we are unable to fight the real enemy. That's why we are on the verge of losing the fight that's going on inside our country. What we need today? what our country needs today?
Let me tell you some facts:
We have the worlds second largest salt mine. We have worlds fifth largest gold mine. We have worlds fifth largest coal resources. seventh greatest copper resources. Sixth largest army and seventh biggest Nuclear power. Seventh largest rice producing country and worlds greatest Basmati rice producing country. Eight largest wheat producing country. Nicest Mango is produced in Pakistan. Nicest apple is produced in Pakistan. Second nicest cotton is found in Pakistan. Australia supplies wheat all over the world and the width of its fertilized land is 3 to 6 inches. While in Pakistan the width of fertilized land is 3 to 6 feet. According to New York times, after the GAWADAR gets in its full running state the annual budget will increase from 30 to 90 trillion dollars. A type of gas called Sheal Gas has resources of about 1500 trillion dollars in Pakistan. Recently it has been discovered that the worlds largest oil resources in the sea near Karachi shores. Pakistan has 15 percent of the worlds mineral resources and haven't yet used even 1 percent of it. And there are still much more facts to talk about.
After knowing all these facts, its clear that our country doesn't need help, it doesn't need any sort of AID from any other country. Then one would ask what our country really needs? Why we are unable to get ourselves out of the pit we are falling deeper and deeper inside of which with each day. Even with all the natural resources a country might ever need, but we are still losing the fight.
Then what is that we are missing? What our country feels in these circumstances?
Our country today feels that she is not being heard. She feels that her men are following the wrong lead. She feels that her men are losing her. She feels that her people are not respecting her the way she deserves. She feels that her people are disturbed and strayed. In this case if unfortunately some one from out comes and gives us a direction while using all those means that would settle all the above issues, we will end up following him. And that would be the one who wants to enslave us in any respect he wants. Or if no one comes and all the issues remain issues for some longer time then we are at the verge of losing our nationality. Because nations in real sense of the word are indeed not what we actually are!
Then what we need? All we need is a real leader. A reformer. That tells us the way out of these circumstances. And he is one who knows what is actually going on in the country and among her people. And he should not be some one from our media. He should not be some one from our politics. He should not be some one from our government; "Because all these institutions are not taking part in nation building". And i have discussed above how and why this is true.
(Personally i didn't want the following lines to be a part of this post but i am writing it so that this post will get some positive meaning.)
In such state of affairs who you think can be our best leader among the all we are looking at today? The ones who are leading for the sake of their hunger for governance? And those are the ones who have established themselves long ago in this country. The leaders of our political parties like Nawaz Shareef and Zardari etc. They are the ones who have failed in all these years of our country's life to make us the nation we deserved and we should have been by all the means. Should it be the dictator like Musharraf who failed to make the right decision at the right time and hence today he's facing some real opposition in the country. Or should it be The Imran Khan who dreams of a better and more established Pakistan as a state and as a nation. We all know that he is a national hero. And who is so willingly determined to get our Country out the these critical circumstances.
The purpose of this post it to point out the real issues and there seriousness and their solution. And not the publicity of any party leader. So i say that the above paragraph is enough for the purpose of giving this post a positive meaning. I just pray to ALLAH that in this Elections we elect the honest and true leader for our nation, whoever he may be. Because we are noble men with no wisdom.

Being Manic.

Manic is a term used often for psychologically recognizing a mental disorder.
"A manic episode is characterized by period of time where an elevated, expansive or notably irritable mood is present, lasting for at least one week. These feelings must be sufficiently severe to cause difficulty or impairment in occupational, social, educational or other important functioning and can not be better explained by a mixed episode. Symptoms also can not be the result of substance use or abuse (e.g., alcohol, drugs, medications) or caused by a general medical condition." (medical source)
If you find anyone of these symptoms in yourself then you are a manic. It is also said that the person suffering should not be treated as a patient but rather it is also sometimes found in persons having great artistic abilities. Although the person finds it hard to get accustom to the social society because of his or her behavior which is continuously changing and hard to be understood but the person is harmless.
The difficult situation arises when we have to have a perception about a manic person. He is never mad. 'Mad' is a relative term, commonly used to define people who are hard to be understood. And often those for whom we are of no match. As indictaed a person having manic disorder is always indulged in goal oriented tasks. They are busy in their life full of goals they have set for themselves. They are busy contemplating the world which seems just marvelous through their eyes which can see the beauty in the vain grain of sand; becaus eof their artistic abilities and other abilities they are endowed with. Simply we find them different, very different indeed.
The purpose of this post is not more just the words to be said and are to be written.

If you cant stop time, let it pass.

If Time is not itself a problem, than mostly it is a solution. There is a principle in this world; Every question has an answere. No matter what question arises on the road to death, you have to have the answere for it in your mind. If not; every one can search it inside their souls. And they must find the answeres to all those questions they are going to face, in order to justify their every step and their whole life and make the heart be in peace. Couple of years ago, i was faced by one such question. And it was an obsessing one. It was a question that never gave me enough room to find the answere for it. Nor i was left with enough strength to go in search of the answere. The question was, 'Why i dont wana commit suicide?'. Everyone of us have the answere for this questions. And even more than one answeres. i had no answere for this question! No one by my side! Nothing helpful! Nothing hopeful! Faithless and helpless! I spent 2 years in this state. I spent this time alone.Didnt bother to find about friends. For that they couldnt help me. No one to advice. The new people i met during that time, i tried to seek their help, just to be seen as a wondering, pointless, and aimless guy. I went for the things that matter not for anyone else. I kept gripping the thoughts that were profoundly attributed to my dreams. I seeked the aproval of GOD. He didnt answered. But he did gave me a sign, but nothing more helpful. I tried everything in my aimlessness but actually i never had an answere to the question that was always there in my mind. Then what helped me out? It was 'Me. I, my self' Neither i had the hope, nor enough courage to take any sort of risk. But i was realy very well aware that i cant stop the days. So i just let them pass; Doing what i thougth to be a part of my dream, what i thougth would get me closer to the answere of that question. With the time my obsession was tranformed into enthusiasm. And as i kept acumulating the enthusiasm it made my aim vivid in front of my eyes. And as i kept wathing my aim it brougth the light of hope glimmering in my eyes. I my soul felt the peace of satisfaction. When i got the answer why i dont wana commit suicide. So it was all the coustesy of time. The courtesy of those two year where i learned how to discover the answere for the question. Time was the real solution.

    Scrape from a book.

“There was a small village in a far place. The population was also very meager. No man had ever walked out to any other place. The people were illiterate and very prudent. Fortunately, one day an aircraft, strayed from its way, passes over this village. In the meantime a box happens to fall from the plane down to the place where the children used to play. Seeing this all of the children ran away to tell the others about the happening. In a short time a large crowed was gathered around the box. Everyone was surprised and afraid at the same time, whispering among themselves.
Children were hoping that the box might be enclosing some sort of toy. Girls were keen to know if any developmental project is due to start in there village, hence allowing new people and men into the village; While the women of the village were greedy to find dresses and jewelry. The men needed tools for the work. And the elderly wanted to see anything they can tell the others about. But, being illiterate, no one dared to step ahead and open the box.
While everyone was held back by the fear of some unexpected disapproval, a boy, who was previously playing with his friends, came after seeing the gathered crowd. Overthrowing the just established aura of the moment he knelt down and opened the box to find a bunch of balls. He picked one and went away to play with the ball with his friends.
‘GOD is generous towards the children. His gifts are often bestowed upon the young ones and innocents’ listening this, from one of the aged men, all of them then went back to what they were previously doing.
Next day the same thing happened, but this time it was a man who steps ahead and opened the box. The box now exposed a pair of axes. The man returned home happily. It was then remarked that ‘No one can choose himself to be lucky, but the luck chooses the one for the gift’.
Yet another day the same thing happened. By then the rumors about the happening were getting deluded by the fear, which had raised the suspicion and people, as the coincidence repeated itself, were getting afraid when they were amazed at the same time. That day a woman had found dresses and jewelry inside the box. For their superstition and fear the box was now considered to be magical or the play of a devil. The elderly tried to forbid the others to heed for the desire. But the same thing happened few more times and people were very amazed to find their needs come true.
At last when nothing fearful occurred and things were considered to be real and safe, one day an elderly man, who was among the ones who used to forbid the others from opening the box, got a chance to open the box. To his discontentment he found nothing inside the box. Everyone returned without an expression on his face. After that day no box was found again and the coincidence never happened again.
Things turned normal and everyone with his longings was still hoping for the same thing to happen. But quickly the fact was believed to be a coincidence or a magical play. The old men again got a chance to say what they wanted. And the others had nothing to say in the reply, no matter what they believed.”
    She concluded the story.

Chaos in a sea is nature's sign.

“Sometime we are standing at the edge when a failure happens to strike. It doesn’t matter if we have just set off or if we are about to reach the other side. But the waves of it are sure to hit the ground where we stand and what we believe in. The faith is the ground where we stand for whole of our life. If the ground didn’t prevail against the waves it will be drowned and you are at the verge of losing your own identity. But if your faith is strong enough then you will see that the waves were never defying the ground. Rather they have their own chaotic nature that belongs to the Sea, the ‘Life’. Waves move in there own chaotic way without any particular direction and are not directed towards the ground. In the same way as they travel towards the ground the waves also converge at the point where the stone strikes but no one notices that, for that the waves converge and disappear in the next moment of the contact. The stone has been overlaid by the same waves but is it wise to let yourself drowned in the same water?”

    Price Rs: 103

I saw a very queer thing the previous day in the market. Knowing that the value of Rupee has gone down to a great extent I was surprised to see a shopkeeper having dangled a small price board declaring the item price ‘Rs: 103’. The amount 103 seemed very different to me. No one would ever give importance to the unit 3 in the whole price because it worth really very small. It wasn’t usual. The shopkeeper should have increased it up to ‘Rs: 110’ or else it should have been ‘Rs: 100’, but the idea of ‘Rs: 103’ was just not getting down my throat. After a short conflict with my reasoning I came to understand something. Not that I understood the reason for that I would never ask the shopkeeper such an obvious thing and to be seen as an idiot. It might be the actual price, what can I say about it.
I just needed to learn something out of it cause it wasn't really a usuall Item price one could find in the market.
What I understood is a principle of life. What if the shopkeeper would have ignored and increased the price up to ‘Rs: 110’. It means he has given the seven rupees worth to be ignored, not just by him but every other person will fall in this trap. My prophet said that the market is a place where the SHATAANs are really present in a good number. And yes it is right. Think what happens when the rates go high and the things become unreachable for the common men and hence creating the sense of discrimination which further results in the crimes and violation of everyone’s right. Thus destroying the whole community and law.
The worth is what we build our self, no matter of what thing. If we give small worth to small money then automatically a desire for large amount of money will rise among the people. They will no longer be satisfied with small money. The poor will be worth smaller than the richer one’s. If the shopkeeper is giving a considerable worth to the money then he is really stabling the whole community. If he gives little worth to seven rupees then the other day he will be raising the amount by seven still more. Because he has already ignored seven yesterday and 'worth' is what doesn’t have to be built again and again every day from the start. If you gave something little worth then you will not hesitate to give it the same worth the second time. It’s a point to ponder.
That shopekeer was really doing the right thing. He was actually controlling the whole community's orderliness and peacefulness.
Anyways I walked back home happily after that. :p
